P&C Meetings

Dear Parents, 

An active P&C Association is essential to ensure a healthy school community where parents and community members are involved as active partners in the educational process. 

The P&C Association is not only a fundraising body as it takes an active involvement in the management of school affairs. The committee has a close working relationship with the Principal and staff and ensures that the school reflects the needs of our school community.

 It is vital that we attract new members to the P&C to bring in fresh ideas to support continuous school improvement and include representation of all sectors of our school community. 

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of President and Fundraising Coordinator. I warmly encourage any interested members of our school community to attend our meeting and consider whether or not involvement in the P&C could be for you.

The P&C could be for you if:

•  You believe that outside of family life, schooling is the biggest and most important part of all of our children’s lives.
• You are new to the school – or have been in the school community for years but haven’t yet been to a P&C meeting.
•  You have specialised skills to share in finance, business, events, design, creative services, parties, fundraising, maintenance, trades, gardening, food handling, project management or any other area
• You want to meet new families and extend your school network.
• You’ve ever had ideas about events or fundraising. 
• You want to have fun AND make a real difference to your children’s school!

I invite you to join our association, have your say and help us to provide the very best educational experience for our children. 

Tonight’s P&C meeting will commence at 7pm in Mrs Deacon’s classroom.  Parents are welcome to bring their children who can access computers and activities in the adjoining classroom during the meeting.
